I am so excited.
Hello.
We have a brand new podcast episode coming out for Amplified Impact and a.
A very special guest today.
d me at Here for more Live in:A friend had invited her and we've just been hitting it off ever since because that's what happens when you are attracting people that are like you into your retreats and into your world, into.
Into what it is that you do.
I have Katrine Wallace here with me.
She is a photographer, branding specialist, and the founder of CEO Luxurious Retreats.
And as we were speaking before even started, hello, multi passionate bajillion ideas happening.
And I'm excited because she isn't just someone that talks about doing things.
Like, since she got back home from here, from her life, she's like written a book, she's launched a new mastermind, she's done this, she's done that.
And it's like you can't even keep up with her because as soon as she gets an idea, she moves.
And that is really what it takes as an entrepreneur to just trust the creative flow.
And also you add in a little bit of refinement and mastery and it's like, it just allows us to become the brand and to be evolving and constantly growing.
And I'm excited for this conversation, for you two to be inspired to take momentum, to get yourself in the rooms, to create your own rooms and really build this movement that allows and pays you to keep growing, changing, shifting and evolving.
So welcome, Katrina.
Thank you so much, Amber.
I am so, so excited to be here.
Really am, and I'm so grateful.
, I was at Here for more live:And in all the good ways, like, all of the good ways it was.
And so I think for it's.
It's just been such.
And it was.
It's all started with a friend texting multiple times, not once.
She texted me multiple times, texted me multiple times.
And finally it was like, I don't know where I was in the world.
I don't, I don't remember where I was.
I think I was on my way back from South Africa or something, and I was like sitting at night and I like kind of all of a sudden had this moment where I was like, okay, I'm going, I'm going, I'm just gonna go.
And I booked everything and I sent her all these message, okay, it's booked the tickets, booked the hotel's book.
Like, everything's done.
And.
And it was, like, amazing.
And I was so excited about it.
And it did not disappoint, I will have to say.
Like, my expectations were super high and they met and exceeded all of them.
And I think the biggest thing that I have to say was more finding more of myself, which was just really.
Which I think is poignant for anybody who's questioning whether or not on the fence, like, should I go?
Should I not go?
And I think it's more.
It's not just about.
I think, Amber, what you bring out in everybody is that it's that they find themselves, Right.
So it's not so much about just like, oh, feed into your energy.
It's more also about feeding into our own energy.
And I think that that was what was so amazing.
And it untapped.
I think a lot of hidden, not hidden.
I always knew they were there, but, like, not.
I just wasn't.
I just kept pushing them aside for kind of like what we talked about on the retreat.
Like, all my ticked boxes, right.
Must have the business, must have the house, must have, like all these things.
And so.
And I was like, it gave me that confidence that, no, you can go and do it.
And yes, like you said, like, this what it.
It's what it takes to be an entrepreneur, right?
Like, let's do.
Let's not just talk about our ideas, right?
Let's act, take an action and move forward with whatever that is.
It doesn't matter in which direction.
You.
You just need to move in a direction.
So, yes, I wrote a book, but I would say to everybody else, like, if you just started with a checklist, like, of things, or if that's.
If the book sounds overwhelming or if you want to start with like a landing page or you want to start with like, listing all the places you want to go on a retreat, then start there, right?
So that you're putting pen to paper.
Because the one thing is that as.
I mean, I'm also.
Yes, I'm a branding specialist and everything, but I've built other businesses.
And the one thing that we've kind of.
I've found in my research, building businesses is your ideas manifest better if you put them pen to paper instead of to the computer.
So actually sit there with a real pen, real paper.
Like with Amber, we did lots of journaling, all that kind of stuff, and like, actually write it out because you will retain.
That will be more meaningful to you.
So, yes.
And I could talk about this all day.
So, yeah, it's like it literally lands and it becomes more real than just thoughts in your head.
And I think something that we spoke of before we like hit record as well, is like, let it be messy, take action.
And if there's anything that you can guarantee it's going to change, grow and evolve and it will not be what the idea is today.
So it's like I wrote a book four and a half years ago, Live your Yoga.
It became a mastermind.
It served hundreds of people.
I've sold hundreds of copies.
And like, Live youe Yoga isn't necessarily who I am and it's everything that I am, but it's not what I lead with.
And so it's just like starting with the ideas that you have, starting with where you're at and like just taking action because it's like through the action, Messy action is what we get to refine and master.
And even if you never do anything with it, it's like better than an entire notepad or, you know, iPhone these days, note app where it's like you have all these post content ideas, you have all these retreat ideas, you have these dreams and desires, but it's like you just keep adding more there.
It's like, no more adding.
Start checking some things off of the boxes.
Right?
But I would love to know for you, I know you're super multi passionate and you as a retreat leader, you as a business owner, you also just had this like, I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go on this retreat.
And so I have like two questions for you.
One, like, how did you get started and what it is that you're doing and how has that evolved?
Like, what's your background?
What's your story?
Like, let us get to know you a little bit more.
And also like, as someone that just like, I'm just going to go, like, I think the audience also needs to hear, get out of your head and book the flight.
Get out of your head.
Book the retreat.
Get out of your head and start the business.
Get out of your head.
Delete the thing that you don't want to do anymore.
So it's like twofold.
How did you get out of your head?
And you're just like, I'm going to go, how did you make that decision?
And also like, how have you evolved and who have you become?
Like, how did you get started?
Tell us all about you.
I'm excited.
Amber.
You've like hit every nail on like, where do I even.
Do I even start?
So I'll go, I'll try and not make this too long winded so that we can kind of get to the meat of all of this because these are such good questions.
So I think for where how I started was more to do with kind of what I kind of said also on the retreat when we were, when we were in Costa Rica was that I.
So I always have had like love for arts in general.
Like I love art history, I love going and exploring art in the world.
I love whether that it doesn't matter what form it looks like.
Right.
It could be a sculpture, it could be a building.
It could be like I could stand in front of Notre Dame de Paris and just stare at it for hours.
Because you look at it and you realize it's 500 years of architecture that's sitting in front of you.
Like every layer.
It's, that's how long it took to finish it.
And it's just, it's an amazing feat.
Right.
So, but I say all that to say I was funneled into.
I must have a career, I must have, I must do all these things to have the right life.
And I put that in quotation marks because I think we are a bit programmed to be like I must have the kids and the, in the, the family life and the house and all these things.
So I went and got my degree actually in speech pathology and specializing in very complex needs children.
And I still love doing that.
Like I still have the business.
It is a seven figure business.
I've built not one, but two.
We're expanding this year so it's still going but it's at a place where I don't have to be as involved in it all the time.
Right.
So I think that's the dream of every entrepreneur is like how do I build a business to the point where I don't have to do all the day to day and I can let it grow and do its thing.
So that's where kind of my.
I was like now what do I do?
And I, because I can't sit and idle.
So I go, well I'm in a.
I'm going to go back to.
So I actually graduated high school and I got into college because of my photography.
So my photography.
I'm a terrible test taker.
My sits my, like everything was awful.
I am smart but I'm a terrible test taker.
So I own up to my, to where my weaknesses are.
It's no problem.
But that being said, so I went to university and they gave me a choice.
Either enter with a portfolio or submit your SAT scores.
So I actually submitted my portfolio and that's how I got in.
So photography and the arts has been a big part of my life, all my life.
But how I kind of got back into it was actually through my son who I realized I wanted to take pictures of my children, right?
And I wanted, I just was like, I need, I need more visuals of my kids because these moments are going to pass us by and I want them to be able.
And my phone was just not doing it for me.
Like I didn't, I just hated using my phone.
So I went and got a camera and dove head, head first, right back, right back to the photography.
Like I dove like as in like I went and got every piece of equipment I could possibly get.
I went and got every lens I could think of.
I got every light I could think of.
I, I then went and invested in my own education, right?
So I went and I currently.
And I'm going to finish studying, I think in the next two months.
I finish but at the New York Institute of Photography.
And so like I'm investing in myself, but it's a.
I reinvested in the skill and relearning everything.
And then I was like, I am a diplomat's daughter, so I've traveled my whole life and I was like, how do I travel and do this photography and travel and everything?
And that's when I came across retreats.
So.
And I was like, you know what?
This is how I travel, see the world, do my photography, bring people together and as well as do what I love, which is building businesses.
So what I realized in building my business is that I kind of lose interest the second I'm done with those initial five years.
So it's kind of like that booming part of the business once it's settled.
I like handing it off.
Like I have a COO who handles the day to day operations of my business.
And so like I like handing that off and then I build something else.
So I was like, what can I do to help people?
Like to basically feed this inside me, right?
This need to constantly build businesses.
They said, I do everything I did for my current business.
I do all the branding.
So I am somebody who.
Then I went and again dove headfirst into branding, learning everything I could about branding, about Facebook ads, about everything that you can think of to create your brand, to build your business.
Because it was more to do with.
I was just doing it for myself.
But what I, and I say all this to, to mean I don't want anybody to think that because you don't have the degrees or the Training in marketing or the training in this or the training in that, that you can't build your own business.
You can't be a successful business owner.
You can't.
You don't need an MBA to understand markets, right?
You don't need, you don't need those things.
What you need is the drive.
I do think grit and drive are your definite.
Like if you don't have those, then you need to make sure you encircle yourself with people who will feed that into your business to make it grow.
And I say that because I don't want people to think like, oh, I don't have that grit, so I can't do it.
No, you can do it.
You absolutely can do it.
It's just.
So where, how do you learn about your weaknesses and your strengths and things and how do you circle yourself?
But for me, the retreat world gives me everything that I'm looking for.
It gives me the ability to travel, it gives me the ability to connect.
The branding gives me the ability to bring other people's dreams to life.
Like I love, like through my speech pathology, I give children the power to communicate.
And I do the same through the branding, right?
I've, I unlock your, your essence through my photography and through your branding.
So you see yourself in a different light and you get to communicate that with the world through these businesses, through these ideas.
And I think that's what's really magical about both of these worlds of mine that I live in.
But I think at here for more I learned about human design and that's where it unlocked this whole side of me where I was like, wait, this is why?
Because I had a moment in my business where I was struggling and you had mentioned this Amber, about like trying to run a business in your masculine energy because you were thinking, like, that's how I must run it.
And I realized when everything went right in my business was when I actually just acknowledged how to run the business, my energy with me.
Like, so I surround myself with people who match my energy type.
And that's where the human design was.
Like, it spoke so much to me about that, where it was just like, yes, that's what we need.
You need to match to your, to your, to your energy type, whatever that is, right?
So once again, dive head first into human design.
Because that's all I do is I constantly am diving into these.
And so I ended up, yes, writing a book called Connections into Cash Flow.
And it's unlocking your seven figure retreat realm.
And it takes the, it takes all the lessons I've learned from unlocking, from creating a seven figure rich, seven figure business myself already, but also taking the human design and the energy and the branding and putting it all under one one umbrella.
And.
And so that was where the whole decision to go to here for more came.
Really, honestly, I wanna, I wanna almost say it was like a calling.
I don't know how else to put that because I kept, like I said, Jeanette kept texting me and I was not really focused on it.
When she would text me, she goes, this is amazing.
You should go, you should go.
It's good for you.
And I'm like, yeah, okay, okay.
And I wasn't really reading it and it was more.
You kind of get these moments where you get like, okay, what am I doing?
Am I just living this?
Am I just going to watch my life be lived for me or am I actually going to actively live it?
And that's when I was like, you know what?
No.
Like you said, Amber, book the ticket, go to the retreat, make the decision jump in, right?
Because the reality is if you don't take the risk, and there is risk in every business venture.
There's risk, there is risk.
And you cannot account for every confounding variable that you can think of to be able to like keep the risk to zero.
So you need to think about what, how much risk can you tolerate, right?
And that's where that's really the reality.
So if you can tolerate 10% of risk or if you can tolerate 50% of risk, it doesn't matter.
But you need to figure out where is where, what's your level of risk tolerance?
And like I said when I first went the first day of the retreat, I said to everybody in the room, I said, basically, I sat there and I go, if I keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, definition of insanity.
So let's do something that's different, that's out of the norm, that's connecting me outside of what my every day to day life is and see if this yields different results.
And boy, did it yield different results.
But like I said, all good ones.
Because now I'm not only working on so on building, I have a book, building a mastermind at the end of the month here in Las Vegas, and for branding purposes, for people to come and get all of their branding done and get their photo shoot done, all within their type of their human design.
So all the branding, everything I do is going to be focused on making sure we help you really kind of match that energy that's within you.
And so there are even, there are, even through my research, I found there are even types of social media platforms that do better with certain designs, human designs than others.
Right.
And so people who feel like, okay, like, let me like, I'm not an Instagram person or I'm not this person, that's okay because there's other platforms that you can use.
And so like understanding that and not feeling like you're a failure because you're not like this one person you saw on Instagram one time and they're successful, but you're not.
It's all about.
And as I've dove through this, I've realized like why I do what I do, right?
Multi, passionate, just jump both feet in I under.
I, I'm a, I'm, I, I tolerate a lot of risk.
So I understand that for me it's very different, very different than for other people.
But yes, that's, that's my long winded.
I, I tried to keep it not long winded.
That didn't work, did it?
Well, that's why you're here.
And like, honestly, I think you drop so much wisdom and like just the ability of like each person having and honing in on their own gifts.
It's like this activation of like stepping and my ability to like bring you into your power and your truth and your knowing.
And for you, Katrine, as someone who is like, every time I ask someone to share, Katrine raised her hand.
This is out of body experience for me.
I normally don't do this, but every time she did it, she dove in both feet.
Most people won't do that, but most people won't build million dollar companies.
But it's like your drive and your ambition and your devotion to like, just keep learning.
Like what you said, like I was in to photography and I, I got this career and then I had children and I became a photographer.
It's like you're constantly allowing your human evolution to serve you in your business and what it is you're creating.
But it's like a lot of people won't be willing to risk, won't be willing to get out of their comfort zone.
And it's like the only way for us to actually grow is to get freaking uncomfortable.
And that means being a beginner and learning something because every time we learn something new, it's uncomfortable because we have no idea what we're doing.
And this is something I talk about when I'm teaching Facebook ads.
I'm like, this is like learning Spanish.
If you have never heard a Spanish movie or a Spanish speaking person, you're going to be like, what language is she talking?
But it's the same thing if you take a photo course, you know, learning about photography or learning about branding or learning about human design.
But it's like, when we take time to devote ourselves to ourselves, to understand who we are and why we are, we don't force ourselves to show up on Instagram because some coach told us Instagram is the only way to run our business.
Like, we don't come out of our bodies and out of alignment because of what someone else says.
Because we know who we are, right?
And like the constant devotion to learning who we are in our way.
And it's like, I really love what you're bringing into human design.
And like, how she, like, Katrine, how not only are you, like, these are the things, but also, like, I want to build a life that I love.
And so here you are, a seeker finding retreats that give you the.
All of you.
And that's what I really love about retreats is like the power of us being retreat leaders and being retreat guests, right?
Because it's like the amount of connections, hint, this book, you know, it's like connections equal cash flow.
The amount of women that I met because of other women that all got into this room and then the connections that are happening from here for more were not even a month and a half away.
And other women are reading each other's books.
Flying to Barbados.
They're coming to Las Vegas to come to your mastermind.
They're flying to France to come to your retreat.
It's like, yeah, all because they got in the room.
But so often, like, we stay in our heads but we don't answer the call.
But it's like circling all the way around.
It's like you answered the call.
Can you keep answering the call?
And I think that is where I'm like, it's the energetics that really allow us to grow and thrive because it's like staying connected to what our body's telling us.
Like, yeah, I'm not actually living.
I'm not actually doing the things that I desire because I'm so busy doing the business.
But if you're so busy doing the business that you don't really get to grow and evolve.
And then that's where the disconnect comes from.
Like people who make a lot of money but feel emptiness inside.
Yes, we want to make a lot of money and feel really deeply connected to our soul's Work.
And I think you're a really beautiful example of like how you've brought in a seven figure business that now supports you to go travel the world, lead these retreats, take beautiful art with your lens and also capture your family.
And I know you didn't stay for the masterpiece retreat because you're like, like, I gotta go home.
My son, he has a soccer game.
It's like you're devoted to the things that matter to you.
Right?
Exactly.
And it's that you hit it there where you said you get busy in the business and you forget you make all this money.
And like, then you wonder like that saying where they say money doesn't give you happiness, but it's because if you just focus on the money, not what the money can bring you and like funnel that money into purpose.
Yes.
Money doesn't give you happiness as in like the actual money having, if you do nothing with it doesn't give you happiness.
But if you have money and then you do something with it that fulfills your purpose, then you will see that the money will make you happy in the sense of because it's fulfilling your purpose, not because of it sitting in your bank.
So that's where I think, like I got, I did, I got lost in my business.
I got lost focusing.
I remember I used to have moments where I go, I can't go to the gym, I can't ride my horse, I can't do, I can't do this thing.
I, because I would sit for 12, 16 hours, working every day, every day, every day dealing with patients, working on this, building, this, and I forgot to live right.
And I would just be so hyper focused on, I must finish this work and I must do these things and I, I must see this amount of patients per day and I must build to this amount of therapists and I must, I must do all these things.
And these were things I was forcing on myself.
Nobody, nobody was around telling me that I had to do any of this.
Like, it was just me.
Like, and so I think for my, my vision, for the reason I, I created CEO Women Retreats, is because for me, I realize as CEOs, we do this all the time.
We get our, our businesses are our babies, right?
Like they, we nurture them, they're our ideas.
They, nobody cares about them more than we do.
So like even, even right now we're in discussion for my, for, for my therapy business about doing a buy in from a venture capitalist for shares.
But it's like I have said, the contingency is I must stay on a CEO.
I cannot give that up because there is no amount.
Nobody's going to care about the growth and the nerd like, as I do.
So I won't give it up.
I'm happy to bring in I and I, but I'm lucky that I'm in that position.
But I'm happy to do.
But there are contingencies to how I'm willing to share that because I'm so protective of what I've built over the last eight years.
But I think for the CEO women retreat, it's really there for women to.
To reap the rewards of their work, come and reap those rewards.
And that I think is.
I honestly think retreats in general, like, you know, Rich, like the ones you do.
Amber, like, retreat for retreat leaders.
Like, that's.
That's also reaping from our reward.
Like, you come and you learn from something else.
And it's just.
I think the big thing is I, you know, people don't be afraid of sharing.
Don't be afraid of.
Because the second you open yourself up.
And that's what I learned in two days.
I want to say this.
I learned.
I learned this in two days.
It took Amber two days for me to figure this out.
Not like six years.
Two.
Two days where it was like, if you unlock yourself and you let yourself be uncomfortable, you find so much growth, and then you unlock sides of yourself that you didn't know were or you knew were there, but you weren't sure how to unlock them or where to take them.
And I think.
And if you think about it, you like people even at the gym, right?
Like, you can't.
Your body won't change if you're never challenging yourself.
Like, I was in spin class yesterday and I was tired.
Like, my legs were tired because the day before I'd done kettlebells.
I done.
I was just tired.
But I was like, my mindset, I was like, no, crank, the resistance.
Crank.
And push and push and push and push.
And yeah, I felt super accomplished when I was done.
And today I'm taking the day off because, yeah, I'm like, I'm tired.
But, you know, it's also recognizing when to take a minute back and when to push in that moment.
And I think that's also those moments in business, the moments in when to go on a retreat, when not to.
When to take those leaps.
But trust.
I think we all.
Personally, I think we all have a sixth sense.
I think we're all capable of.
I think some people are more in Tuned with theirs.
But I think we all have one.
And so when you have that kind of gut feeling, like, it's time for you to make a change, that's the world telling you it's time for you to make a change.
So take the leap in any direction, right?
Take it.
Take it to go on a retreat, take it to start a business.
Take it to.
It doesn't even matter if, like, it can be as simple as you've been wanting to do daily walks and you just haven't.
So take the leap, do the daily walks.
See where that road takes you.
You may meet someone that day and you don't know what that.
What that's going to open up.
So be open to those connections.
Because like I say, connections into cash flow, you don't.
I truly believe that I am someone who believes in collaboration, who believes in connection, who believes in sharing and benefiting.
Everybody, right?
So, like constantly, like, if somebody, you know, always setting up, even affiliate marketing links, so everybody benefits.
Everybody.
Everybody is in it.
Because at the end of the day, if they benefit, they'll.
You'll benefit.
Yeah.
And it's so powerful, like, when we can own in on our own gifts and our own uniqueness and what we bring to the table.
It's like we do have to break through limitations of the past and competition and comparison and all of the things that we learned and we were conditioned growing up to be like, sharing is actually caring and letting other people come into the spotlight and shine.
And some people are afraid to let that happen.
They're afraid to shut their mentors from the rooftops.
They're afraid to bring other people on their retreats.
And it's like, no, it's like the more that you can open up to give and receive, the more there is there for you.
And I think what you said too, about just like the retreat space and like going on a retreat or going for a walk or starting the business or whatever it is.
It's like we all have an intuition because we can all feel when we have to go to the bathroom, we can all feel when we're hungry, we can all feel these body symptoms and signs that we need something.
The same thing is when we need connection, when we need someone to push us to go a little bit farther.
I mean, I had someone tell me once, like, I was going to the gym every day, I was eating well, I wasn't losing weight.
They hired a personal trainer and was like, you've been doing it wrong.
If you want to gain muscle, you need to do this, this and this.
And it's like those little tiny tweaks from a coach, a mentor, a personal trainer are going to help you in two days rather than two years get to where it is that you want to go.
And it's like, that's why getting in the room collapses time.
That's why becoming aware of what you're afraid of helps you to.
You don't know what's going to happen on the other side, but you will never find out what happens on the other side if you don't take the step into the other side.
But that's like the scary, uncomfortable edge of like just going for it, especially if it's happened in the past and you didn't have a great example.
And so I've been talking about this a lot lately because my first baby was two days and then he ended up C section.
And I still am like, I'm going to have a home birth and I'm going to have a natural birth.
My evidence, if I look backwards isn't so great, but if I look outside of myself, other women have done this.
That's why V back is such a popular thing.
And so it's like, sometimes you don't have the evidence, but you have other women who have the evidence for you.
And so that's what I really love about just coming together in retreat space, the coaching space, the online space, like whatever it is that you're doing, opening up the space for collaboration, connection and affiliates.
And honestly, like, that is the best thing that we can do as retreat leaders is to share and shout each other from the rooftops.
And that's what I'm really excited too.
When Katrine messaged me and she's like, hey, Amber, what if I bring this to your retreat here for more and I offer this.
And I was like, of course, let's get you on the podcast, let's talk about this.
But I know there's so many other things that you're doing right now and I would just love for you to share a little bit more about your vision for those coming to hear for more in the Masterpiece retreat and what it means for you when you do a human design based branding photo shoot and what that could look like for anyone that's like, yes, please shoot me in Costa Rica.
I'm ready, all ready for all of it.
So, yes, and I think before I answer that, I do want to say, I think the one thing you were saying about, like, yes, doing, you know, noticing your weaknesses and where you struggle and then feeding that and all of.
And also knowing where your strengths are and then feeding into those is also.
Don't people always tend to go, I'm gonna move away or I'm gonna take.
Like, if you're.
If you're having a bad experience, you're like, no, I must get out of this.
Right?
And I think there's a caveat to this part.
People always say the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.
The grass is greener where you water it.
So water.
You water yourself.
Nurture yourself.
Because if you change within yourself, your environment will change and your will get greener.
So don't always think about constantly reaching across the aisle to find the answer.
I 100% believe the answer is within each and every one of us.
But nurture yourself.
And that can look, like I said, it can look however that looks like to you.
And, you know, for me, really, it was taking a leap of faith doing something that was out of my comfort zone and being like, you know what?
I'm gonna go somewhere where people can give me a different perspective, because I am not.
I just.
I just don't know what.
What to do with this feeling inside me.
And that's what Here For More did for me.
son I'm so keen to go back in:What I was hearing was the same kind of thing in the room from other women was also that I want this.
This.
It doesn't matter what it was, right?
I want all of these things.
And.
But I also think there is a reality of real life, right?
Like Facebook ads, like marketing, like strategies and things like that.
But I think you also have to merge the two sides.
And I think there is.
There is good things in corporate just as much as there's bad things.
And there's also, I think, you know, so taking action in your life is super important, and I think that's owning to yourself.
And it's something even I do with my.
With my autistic kiddos.
The amount of times I always tell my.
My family is, I say, please stop treating them like they're so different.
As in, like, you treat them as individuals, as who they are, Right?
So not everything they do is because of their diagnosis.
Things that they do are just because of their personalities and who they are and cherish that.
Embrace that.
And I say that.
I say this to say, embrace who you are.
Embrace that energy within you, because I think what I want to bring to hear for more with the human design photo shoot is for you, for us to do your human design.
All right, so we'll go through all of that and you would come out and then we would shoot.
I have mood boards that I've created based on each person, each of the human designs.
So you've got the manifesto, the generator, the reflector, and the projector.
I'm a manifesto generator, so I do both.
I have a mix of both.
But really what it is, it's like the manifester is like the fire, right?
So you're somebody who has a lot of ideas.
You tend to burn really hot, but then you kind of.
You.
You struggle with that.
That, I guess the grit and the persistence, right, to kind of push through, that's where the generator person comes in.
So when you don't.
So for a photo shoot like that, if somebody was a pure manifester, I would think of things to be very bold and very explosive, right?
That would be.
And that may be very vibrant colors that may be very kind of eccentric, different kinds of shoots.
So.
But usually reds, oranges, and things like that.
Yellows would be more of the branding coloring type that we would look for.
And again, this doesn't mean you only have reds, yellows and oranges in your branding.
It just means you're looking for more vibe.
Like, my branding is in purple, but it's a very vibrant purple, and there's a reason for it.
For me, it more mostly has to do with purple is usually a sign of royalty colors, royalty.
Being a queen, you're the queen of your business.
Like, you are the queen.
So that's why I picked that.
I personally picked that for my branding.
So, but.
And then the same with.
And we would go down this for generators.
Generators tend to be more nurture.
So, like, they tend to grow it.
So the manifester will have the idea and the generator will grow that idea and nurture it.
So those tend to be.
Which I think is such a perfect Costa Rica, such a perfect place to do this because all the greenery everywhere, everywhere.
It's a perfect place for a generator shoot.
Now, it is also, I think, a very good place for a reflector shoot, because reflectors, it tends to be more.
The colors are more blues and sand and beige and kind of calmness and relaxation.
And that the.
The reflector is more of a kind of somebody who kind of sits with the idea, right?
And kind of thinks about how it will be.
But they, you know, again, none of this means that you can't create a business, but it may Mean, like someone like me who's just very fiery as a manifesto generator.
I don't think I would run a very good mindfulness retreat.
That would not be my strong suit.
I.
I would probably sit there and be like, okay, we need to go do something right now.
And they'd be like, no, we came here to relax.
And I'm like, okay, but yeah, this is not relaxing.
We need to move.
Like, I need to go adventure.
I need to go hike Mount Everest or something, and then I'll relax.
So for me, it's acknowledging that that's not, you know.
But if I wanted to, for example, build a mindfulness retreat, then I would find someone who is more of a reflector energy type, and I would feed off of that so I can create the idea, I can brand it, but I would let them run it and I would turn to them as that's their strength.
Right?
So that's where what I want to do in the retreat is really have everybody do these on, like, their workshop and almost like bring.
My mastermind in Vegas will kind of mimic what we would do in the sense of like, we're going to actively work through all of your ideas and kind of getting you to a point.
And then we're going to, you know, for anybody who wants to do the shoot, basically you would then have it where we would shoot you based on what your energy type is.
And we would come up with a mood board.
I have example mood boards.
And again, that doesn't mean you have to do them under those, but it gives you an idea.
And the reason I have like the Manifesto as a fire is just so that you know that, that a person of that type of energy is just going to be more bold.
So versus a reflector is more passive.
So those tend to be in.
In branding terms, it tends to be more like cursive fonts and kind of light fonts and kind of a lot of white space in your, you know.
And so like, but even me, like, I love, like, even think about sometimes the way I dress.
Like, yes, I love all black, but then I'll love like one big fiery statement piece.
And so that kind of matches my, my energy type.
Like, right?
I don't want to have.
I always want like one accent piece.
And I do it even in the way I, I decorate my house.
Like, I like all neutrals.
And then I want accent pieces.
Like, and that usually sits in my art.
So I want artwork that's very accent pieced.
So that's really what I would.
What I would do and it would be work through because it wouldn't be so much.
Yes, we would take your human design.
I think there are better people to dive into the deeper parts of human design.
But what I'm doing is I'm taking the human design and I'm applying it to your branding for your business to create your retreat dream so that you are able to build that seven figure retreat.
Because the reality is if we build, whether it's a speech pathology clinic like I have, whether it's a retreat, whether it's a restaurant business, whether the basic concepts of business stay the same, the basic concepts of building stay the same, you, the book goes through this.
But the biggest thing I think people need to take away if you want to build a seven figure business is it needs to be scalable.
So you need to figure out, and I say this to say if you guys are coming to the here for more 20, 25 or if you want to come to my Las Vegas mastermind, for example, the answer you need to have is how do I make this scalable?
How do I take this outside of myself?
Right?
Because that's the only way.
Because if you are exchanging time for money, even in your own business, you have a job.
If you cannot step away from your business for three months and it still generate money, you have a job, not a business.
So it's like you think about how can you scale it.
Now that could mean many things.
It could mean connections into cash flow, as in connecting with people at different retreats, finding people to collaborate with and then doing through affiliates, hosting different things, etc.
But finding ways that you can scale the idea so that you are able to generate that amount of income.
And that can come from passive incomes like creating a mini course, creating things like that so you're recording and you're not exchanging time.
Like you're recording it and somebody else is buying it and they're taking it in their own time, but you haven't, but you're still getting paid for it or, and that doesn't mean you'd never do something yourself in exchange for money again, quotation marks.
But it just means don't have that be the end all, be all of everything you do.
But yeah, that would be my.
Which I'm really excited because I think I've never had one person yet when I do a shoot, tell me you captured me in the wrong light.
That has not happened as of yet.
We'll knock on wood.
Yeah.
Oh my gosh, it's so good.
I'm really, really so excited because it's true a scalable business.
It can't be dependent on your time and it needs to be predictable and consistent and measurable and really allowing you to grow and scale outside of yourself.
And for those of us that are like, no, I want to be the personal brand of that, yes, you can be.
And if you get sick, you don't want to have to shut your business down, you don't want to have to close things.
And I'm about to have a baby and I'm like, I need to be able to still continue to have the impact and the launching and doing all the things that I have.
And I'm also going to be like having a tiny little baby here.
So it's like, yeah, what is scalable?
I love that.
And I also love like, like just knowing that you're coming, you're going to be offering these human design photo shoots.
Like it's just going to be like after two days you are a different person.
You leave with so much clarity and so many new connections.
To be captured in this light through Katrine on the other side is going to be such a game changer because it is the identity that you really get to step into and birth those ideas into the world.
And what happens in:It's scalable, it's predictable and you have photos to really reflect this time in this evolution.
hat you can utilize that over:Because I literally know that when we get in the rooms and we meet new people, whether that be online or it be at a retreat or it be at a conference, it's the people you meet, they say it time and time again, your net worth is your network.
It's not what you know, it's who you know.
And I'm really excited for this book to be coming into the world because I watched it happen happen firsthand with here for more live.
And it's something that I've been living for the last 12 years since becoming like a wild, crazy hippie entrepreneur that moved to Costa Rica.
I'm like, I See the power in who we know and who is there.
Like, if you don't know how, knowing someone who knows how, which is how Katrine's mastermind was Bird that was like, hey, I want to know how to do this.
And she's like, let me create the room and I'll show you guys how to do this, this.
erested in here for more LIVE:You can reach out to Katrine so you can get that book.
And Katrine, thank you for taking the time, sharing your wisdom.
I feel like I could have just like, had my notebook out taking notes this whole time.
No, thanks, Amber.
It was, it's always such a pleasure.
And I, I really, I implore anybody who's listening and, you know, if you have a friend who is on the fence, tell them to take the leap because I told you two days.
It took Amber two days.
So it's.
That's, that's the power of all of this.
And I think if you nurture it, it definitely will come.
And.
Yeah, and I, and in the book, I have other books that will be coming out, but this is the start of it.
So if you want to start and you just, you just are not sure where to begin, it is written in a way that is super, super approachable.
I have not put in corporate lingo in there.
I've not put in that kind of stuff.
It's made.
It was written in a way for anybody to pick it up and to be able to, you know, go ahead and start their business.
Start.
And if, you know the book isn't sufficient, you don't know enough.
Like, then please come and reach out and we can definitely.
You can come to the mastermind.
You can do that, or you can see me in Costa Rica, and we can do it at that point too.
So any of those options are on the table.
There's so many options for you.
So I definitely, I'm so thankful to Amber.
I'm really, I'm so thankful to Jeanette for constantly pestering me.
Thank you, Jeanette.
Over WhatsApp.
And it just to show the power of affiliate, you know, it's like got paid big because she brought all of her friends and her people with and it's like, because she believed in the vision and the mission that I had and I held.
And so many people listen to the podcast episode that her and I did together, and they're like, I felt the energy, I felt the frequency.
I need to be there.
And I know, if you're listening to this and you're feeling it, it's just like, do what Katrine did and you'll come back again and again and bring your friends and honestly, get paid to come and be a part of this magical experience.
Meeting women like you, which is such a gift.
So thank you.
So amazing.
So thanks, Amber.
I really.
I've enjoyed every minute, as always.
And thank you again for the opportunity.
It's just amazing.
Bye.
I just wanted to end this on Facebook before.
